Social

Social activities at St Paul’s

We aim to provide opportunities for fun and fellowship through regular and one-off events.  We are inspired by a verse from the bible:

Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”    Acts 2:46-47

We arrange events about once a month. There are meals in the church hall to celebrate festivals such as Harvest and Christmas.  At members’ homes, we hold an informal ‘open house’ drop-in sessions and a summer garden party. In our church hall we hold games evenings and in summer there are outings to places of interest and walks in the countryside around Bracknell.  In May we hold our holiday weekend away, usually at the coast or in the countryside, where we enjoy outings, board games, cream teas, walks and more while getting closer to each other and to God.

We welcome all who are part of our church, whether through Sunday morning worship, or through taking part in activities for children, young people and families during the week.
